On the Road Home

After a long and exhausting day at work it is nice to drive home through the country. Even though I drive 40 miles round trip to work I don't mind because I get to come home to this.

A quick turn into the driveway.

And an excited puppy dog to greet me!

It sure does make it worth every mile I drive. (Note the pup on the ridge beside the house, that is Annie. I guess she was letting her little sister do all the escorting that day) Life is good.

Where are the painted lines on the road? I didn't see any exit sign. How did you know where to turn? Is the dog warning you that the traffic light is out up ahead?

Thanks for the visit today. I love your dogs and horses! And your driveway is much longer than mine!

Gorgeous country! Kind of reminds me of where I grew up. My parents live on a highway, but it's all dirt roads beyond that. I'm so sick of town life, I'd take a dirt road! I don't care if the car's always dirty!
